I began tutoring English, Spanish, and French while an undergraduate at UCLA, with the goal of helping student athletes with humanities subjects to remain in good standing. My specialties include English literature, personal essays for college applications, and graduate level research proposals, dissertations, theses, essays, and academic books/papers. Depending on the subject, I can provide further assistance with content, proofreading, argument, copy editing, and translation. I can tutor beginning to advanced French and French literature and criticism.Teaching languages to others is an enjoyment. I highlight the beauty of the French language and how it can help appreciate music, film, people, and culture from different places and times. I've taught high school honors, college, and graduate school students as well as adult professionals. I recently relocated to the Boston area and studied at UCLA's English Department and Medieval and Modern Languages and Literature at Oxford University. During my graduate studies at Oxford, I taught English and Shakespeare and introduced an English program to UK inner city high school students. I've lived in Paris, Salzburg, and England where I once produced a play featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.I also do editing, photography, and art that has been used for book covers.
